Susan Klopman provides strategic advice and representation to employers in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies in all facets of employment law. She counsels businesses on compliance with wage and hour laws, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), including Title III of the ADA, and represents them in private and class action lawsuits. Susan also has extensive experience in traditional labor law, handling management trainings, union negotiations and National Labor Relations Board charges. As an accomplished litigator, Susan has tried numerous cases in federal and state courts in Colorado, as well as before arbitrators.
In addition to litigation, she assists clients with drafting employment and confidentiality agreements, creating handbooks, and providing advice on various employment-related topics. These include wage acts, disability and leave laws, discrimination and retaliation, trade secret protection, ERISA claims, and best practices for discipline and performance management.
Susan earned an English Literature certificate from Somerville College, Oxford University.
